Car buying is not a rocket science or you don’t have to depend on some myths in order buy a car that will benefit you. Technically speaking not every car buying myth would be true. So, use your mind in order to invest into something good.

We have dispelled some myths for you. So, if you ever happen to buy a new car, don’t hesitate or don’t get double minded. Check out this article for reference and moreover, there are various public reviews that are available online. So, you can also read those reviews and ratings given by users on particular automobile.

#1- You will have to buy Today!
There is no such thing. It isn’t like today you are getting a car at best deal and the next day its price won’t be the same. Here the condition is if you are buying a car from dealer where there have been made immense advance booking for that car, and then you can say that.

Otherwise, dealers often scare customers to buy the car saying its price would hike which is just rubbish. The bottom-line is that the overall price difference won’t be much so you don’t have to worry. Just take your time.

#2- Buy Used Car for more profit
The biggest benefit of buying a used car is that you let someone else take the biggest depreciation hit on the car. But used car is not as reliable as the new car is.

Some new cars depreciate at a lower rate than others and hold their value well, but more often than not the opposite is true. As the interest rates are rising by time, so there might be difference between the interest rates of both new and used cars which could mark greater savings.

#3- Red Car is expensive to buy

What? Red is the sign of danger but it has nothing to do with cars right? If someone says that they invested huge in buying red Porsche, then it has nothing to do with the car color, believe it.

No one gets penalized for choosing brighter colors like red and insurance companies don’t make stupid conditions for you to pay higher insurance rates for a red car than any other car. What the insurance companies look into is car’s make, model, year, body type and engine. So, all in all, get rid of this myth and buy car of your favourable choice because car color has nothing to do with insurance companies or rates.

#4- Buy a Car on a Rainy Day
Isn’t it amusing? Which saint proposed that myth by the way? It is that myth which is likely to backfire if you don’t work practically. These are mere misconceptions and coincidences that occurred sometimes at the time of a good investment.
But why do they try to screw you? Who buys a car on a bad weather, isn’t it simple to guess? Or on contrary some people buy car on rainy day thinking that the dealership won’t be crowded and they will get enough deal.

Everyone thinks its going to be empty because of weather so they want to take benefit of the best deal and the dealership becomes crowded again as a result.
Just like this myth, some folks enter dealership just before it is about to get closed thinking that they will agree to your suggested price, which is illusion again.

Salesman’s job is to sell his product so if you go there they will do their best to make it a deal or else they might get pissed because you are eating their private time and might not be interested in dealing with you.

#5- Buy at month’s end
It depends. This is because the dealerships or car sellers receive bonuses from the manufacturers’ for selling target at the end of the year, quarter or month. So, if they are few cars away from achieving their target, you may get some benefit but you might have to compromise for color and upgrades.

They wont make preferable deal with you if they have already achieved there target and are already eligible to get high bonus from manufacturer. Don’t think about this, you don’t have dealer’s quota list and don’t know how far they are from completing their target.

So, go with your gut feeling and buy the car with proper research and when you wish to.

#6- Never finance at the Dealership
If you have a good credit score, then financing at the dealer can make better sense than a private bank or credit union because dealership will have access to numerous banks; even have much better interest rates as compared to others.

But most dealerships have agreements with credit union which means you can get the same rate your local union offers while doing paperwork at the dealer.
The best way to get rid of such myth is to calculate your credit score before going for a deal. This will definitely save you time, money and bother.

#7- You should buy it, if you can afford it
You should do your homework properly. Don’t take hasty decision or don’t go before the salesman.

Its the salesman’s job to present the item in such a way that the customer must not go before buying it. But the price of the car you are looking for wont change much within some time. You can think thoroughly, research properly, ask any friend you is a gear head about his opinion or can review user ratings on that particular car you are thinking to buy.

So, look at your budget. Make pre preparations and calculations. Don’t worry if you still want to take time because deals never stop to come. You never know you will get the best in next days.

So, be prepared and buy the car according to your specifications and budget.
