  2. Vibration While Driving Acura MDX - If you are driving your Acura MDX at speed between 35 and 40 MPH you might witness a shudder or vibration. This is caused by the transmission torque converter failure. It is recommend to replace the Acura Torque Converter and install an updated powertrain control module (PCM) to correct this concern. Acura MDX Vehicles with this problem are 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
  3. Acura’s Soft Brake Pedals - Acura TSX vehicles may develop soft or low brake pedal. This is a condition caused by a faulty vehicle stability assist (VSA) modulator control. In this case you can get rid of this problem by replacing Acura TSX VSA modulator control unit. Acura TSX Vehicles with This Problem 6 model years affected: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010
  4. Acura’s Ignition Switch Failure - Acura CL 1997, CL 1998, CL 1999 and Acura CL 2002 owners might face a situation where the car sometimes refuses to start. This is because your ignition switch failed. To fix this issue replace the faulty ignition switch with a genuine Acura Ignition Switch.
  5. Loud Noise from Acura’s Engine - If you own Acura TSX you might witness a loud rattle type noise from the engine after a cold start. This can be caused by a faulty valve timing control actuator. Replacing the failed actuator will commonly correct this noise issue. The affected engine is 2.4L Cylinder. Acura TSX 9 model years are affected with this problem: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
  6. Acura’s Exhaust Recirculation Valve Failure - The exhaust recirculation valve (EGR) on the 1996-2012 Acura RL may fail. This will result in the illumination of the check engine light, rough idle, reduced fuel economy, engine vibrations and long cranking before engine start. OBD trouble codes are P0401 and P1491. The EGR valve has open and closed positions and opens or closes on command from the computer. Exhaust gases constantly pass through the valve when it is open, leaving carbon deposits on the valve. These carbon deposits may lead the valve sticking in the open or closed position. To correct this issue, sometimes it is sufficient to clean the valve, but replacement is recommended in all cases with genuine Acura EGR Valve.
  7. Acura’s Starter Motor Issues - The starter motor used on the 1995-2006 Acura TL frequently fails on vehicles around 125,000 miles. It may help prolong the life of the starter to service the starter to ensure the connections are clean and tight at the 100,000-mile mark.
  8. Acura’s Fuel Door Problems - The fuel door may not open correctly at times. This may be caused by a lack of clearance between the fuel door and the release latch. The common repair is to lightly trim the top of the fuel door lock tap. Acura TSX Vehicles with This Problem 4 model years affected: 2004, 2009, 2012, 2013.
