LEDs are a flexible lighting option for every need. Although LEDs were created in the 1960s, it wasn't until the early 2000s that they were used in vehicle lighting. Modern LEDs provide a vivid and varied colour output, in contrast to earlier models that could only create faint colours. The majority of LEDs used in modern automobiles are found in the headlamps, DRLs (daytime running lights), tail lights, and indicator lights. LEDs have a number of benefits over conventional light bulbs. While LEDs can survive for more than 30000 hours, conventional bulbs only last for 1000 hours. Additionally, they use a lot less energy to operate, are completely maintenance-free, and are far more effective.
